What happens during a prenatal consultation?

At Academy Park Pediatrics, the team offers prenatal consultations, or parental “meet and greets,” at both their Lakewood and Highlands Ranch locations. These brief consultations are free of charge.

At the beginning of your visit, the team introduces themselves and explains a little bit about their backgrounds. Then, they open the floor to you and your partner. You can ask questions or discuss concerns and fears.

If you have an underlying medical issue (or issues) that might increase the risk of premature birth or other complications, make sure to let the team know about that too. After gathering the necessary information, they can make recommendations to ensure a healthy, happy, and complication-free pregnancy.
