We always have a great experience with Dr. Bowyer! She's attentive, engaging, and so sweet with our baby, who is usually sick and cranky most times we visit Academy Park. As a first-time mom, I've felt encouraged and supported in providing the best care for my son since Dr. Bowyer first saw him at two days old. Visiting Academy Park is always a positive experience!

Dr Healy is truly the best. This is the second time we've seen her and our usually very skittish toddler is very comfortable with her. The veteran MA Alicia is so good at what she does, making that sometimes torturous toe prick hemoglobin test an absolute piece of cake. Our son didn't even flinch. The Lakewood office in general is great - even though it's a 35-min hike for us from Highlands Ranch, they're very on top of things and great to work with (shout out to the front desk who helped us get some paperwork completed that we forgot about). We've been with Academy Park for over a year and we are very pleased.

My kids (son and daughter) have been seeing Dr. Healy for quite a few years now. She is so down to earth and practical in her approach. We've had a couple issues to tackle over the years, and she's provided options as well as suggestions. I also love that she doesn't push medications as the first solution but rather as a last resort. Even though almost an hour away we chose Dr. Kallio based on reviews and granted we have only had one visit I was happy with our choice. She listened, she wasn’t pushy, she was kind and I’ll for sure take my son to see her for his check up later this year. It’s hard to find kind doctors who actually pay attention to what you say, or let you advocate for yourself and your children these days I feel, but I’m excited for this relationship for our children. It was a long road to finding Dr. Bowyer! I was not going to give up until we found a doctor for our child that was kind, compassionate and caring! We have been seeing Dr. Goldberg since our twins were born and we just finished up their 6yr check-up! Dr. Goldberg is incredibly personable, caring and informative. He treats us like friends vs. names on a file. We never feel rushed and always feel welcome! And the staff are so sweet and caring. We love APP!

We never feel rushed by Dr. Bowyer. She's friendly and listens to any concerns we have, she treats with respect and not just a number to get through. All the providers at academy park are amazing.

Dr. Goldberg was quick to assess a possible Appendicitis for my 9 year old. Within five minutes of being in the office he made his observations and told me he had already called Children's Hospital and they know we are coming. Thank goodness he did. By the end of the night my kid had an Appendectomy Laparoscopic surgery and was in hospital for three days. Scariest moment of my life and it's thanks to the quick assessment by Dr. Goldberg that my doctor is a happy healthy kid today.

My child sees lots of specialists at the Colorado Children's Hospital, but it is Dr. Kallio that has made the most difference as her bedside manner is genuinely the best (she follows up with her patients via a phone call) and her medical advice is invaluable as a doctor that has the depth of knowledge/experience from seeing so many patient cases. I recommend Dr. Kallio to anyone seeking a caring, knowledgeable doctor with years of experience to provide accurate diagnosis and treatment for any child.

We just moved to Highlands Ranch and from Arizona and it's always a bit scary finding new doctors for your kids, especially since mine have seen the same ones since birth. My youngest just had his 6 year well check with Dr. Trista Bowyer and she was absolutely wonderful! He is very shy, but she put him at ease. After the appointment, he said that he likes his new pediatrician and the new doctors office, so I can't ask for anything more. My oldest is also medically complex and sees many specialists at the Children's hospital. I love that Academy Parks charting system is integrated with Children's so they can review notes and I don't have to relay so much information anymore, like I had to do in Arizona. Overall, I am very pleased with choosing Academy Park Pediatrics to care for my children and I would highly recommend them.

We've been seeing Dr. Bowyer for almost 5 years and without a doubt, we wouldn't take our son anywhere else. Dr. Arfsten has been my children’s’ doctor for over 15 years. We are going into our last year with him, as my last son is going into his senior year of high school. We will miss him greatly! He is a gem. His diagnosis are always reliable, and he is always reliable with doing paperwork needed.

I met Dr. Kallio over 12 years ago. I was overwhelmed and pregnant and wanted to find a doctor who could help me provide the best care and love for my kiddo. Dr. Goldberg is truly apart of our family. Trying to raise your children and figure out all the different bugs, bruises, and developmental milestones can be daunting. Dr. Goldberg always has time to answer our questions, is there when we have concerns, helps us when we're sick, and is one of the smartest and most genuine people I know. He is a great pediatrician, and a quality human being.

De. Goldberg is the best. We happily come from Denver to the ‘burbs to see him. Always personable, knowledgeable and friendly. Great with adults and kids, alike. Highly recommend, though if he gets too booked, we’ll never get a spot!

I can't say enough how much I appreciate this practice. They always get us in super quick which is so important when kiddos are sick so we can get treated and get on with our busy lives. Dr. Arfsten has been a huge part of my family since he first saw our daughter Aspen he has helped guide us in every positive way. They go above and beyond making sure your transition of Hello appointments to children’s hospital is so simple. They have always helped me set up everything I now have three children that go to this office and I could never imagine going anywhere else. This pediatric office deserves 10/5 stars in my opinion. The only thing that really frustrates me about this practice is that they won’t allow me to make appointments for my 18 year old. I find this so ridiculous because I make appointments for my husband, also an adult, all the time I don’t want to sit in the room, not looking for medical records, just trying to make an appointment. What could be the possible threat of privacy in this circumstance? As a result, he hasn’t been because he doesn’t bother to call to make the appointment.

They’re the best! Everyone is helpful, knowledgeable, and super caring. We’ve seen dr Kallio and Healy, and they’re wonderful. Anytime we’ve called after hours, the on-call physicians have been amazing as well!

As new parents we are so happy with our decision going to Academy Park Pediatrics. All of our encounters with Kelsey have been positive. She is attentive and good with our daughter. She educates us on the developmental milestones and feedings and answers any other questions we have.

Dr Kallio was very kind and helpful with my son’s broken arm. She even got me the school requested form for ibuprofen same day I dropped it off to make sure he could be more comfortable at school.

Dr. Healy was amazing! She was super kind and caring towards my boys. They were both really sick and she gave me so many options and explained everything thoroughly. Since the boys were so sick, she said that we could go ahead and go and that she would call me with the test results. As soon as we were leaving, she said she had the results. It was awesome because we were able to figure it out so quick and get the boys home to rest. They both had terrible headaches, so I turned the lights off and she was so comfortable with a little light. Dr. Healy really did make my boys feel as comfortable as possible when they had the flu.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Kallio, and the experience that we have had at Academy Park Pediatrics. If you want a kind, intuitive, patient and thorough pediatrician for your child, you will love Dr. Kallio.

Once I was able to speak to Dr. Lange the phone call took about 3 minutes and he was able to write me a prescription for what I needed. The actual setting up of the phone call was a little frustrating. I chose the option to have a Doctor call me ASAP and I never received a call. The lady I spoke to had to cancel that appointment and re-schedule for an exact time.

Dr Kallio always listens and is very kind and encouraging. My kids love her and she always puts them at ease.

Dr. Healy has been deeply involved in our daughter's journey with Anorexia and Depression. While she has been involved in that daughter's journey, our other daughter has not needed as much ongoing care. Dr. Healy treats both as mature young adults who have an opinion about their care. She is encouraging and reinforces positive self image for both. When either of them needs straight-forward answers to their questions, Dr. Healy provides it with grace.

Dr. Kristy Healy is an extraordinary person and physician. We feel incredibly fortunate that we’ve had the privilege of her taking care of our 3 daughters over the course of the past 20 years as they’ve grown from infants to young adults. She is extremely professional and intelligent, but it is her kindness, her time and the respect that she shows every pediatric patient, parent and staff that makes her stand out amongst her colleagues.

Dr. Bowyer and nurse staff were punctual. Warm and engaging to my nervous 18 month old. Most importantly They provide time to answer any questions I had, I did not feel rushed.

Dr. Healy is such an amazing pediatrician. She talks to my child and asks her questions about her symptoms and how she is doing. She makes her feel comfortable and actually listens to her. I would highly recommend Dr. Healy.

We love Academy Park and especially Dr. Goldberg! Since our son was born, he’s been a wonderful support to us as new parents. Our son was also recently hospitalized for RSV at Children’s. It was a terrifying experience and it was so comforting to have Dr. Goldberg and his team follow us through our hospital stay, following up as a support often. Academy Park Pediatrics has always provided the best care for my kids. They are kind, supportive and are able to evaluate and treat even the most obscure of ailments. Dr. Kallio and Dr. Goldberg have been our primary doctors for many years and we have greatly valued their compassion and expertise.

The Dr. Included my child in the conversation. He asked her questions and helped her frel comfortable. My child was nervous because he was a male Dr. Once he was aware of that he let my kiddo take lead and worked at her pase.
